APT Keyboard Express automates repetitive tasks, time-consuming routines, or complicated series of keystrokes with a single "Hot Key" you define.

Once you press a Hot Key to start a job, no further intervention is required. You can define Hot Keys for each user, or for your entire organization.

APT Keyboard Express improves the productivity of all your users by increasing the speed, accuracy, and consistency of tasks and keyboard input.

Ease of Hot Keys Creation

An easy-to-use keystroke recorder aids you in creating Hot Key script files for APT Keyboard Express. You can perform script edit-ing using either a standard word processor or a text editor.

Single Key Replay of Hot Keys

Pressing a single key replays the entire sequence of keystrokes recorded into a specific Hot Key. Time-consuming program sorts and selects, the generation of several reports, or the cleanup of a system's "dead" files can be initiated and chained to automatically produce the desired results with a single keystroke. A Help key ( < Action-H > ) identifies all Hot Keys established within your current application.

User Configurable

APT Keyboard Express allows you to configure your Hot Keys for your use only or for everyone's use. You can configure up to 256 Hot Keys per application. All Hot Keys are easy to add, delete, or modify.

Integrates with APT Night Shift

Combining APT Keyboard Express with APT Night Shift enables you to take advantage of many powerful in-line command features. These features allow you to include action delays based on conditional strings and loops, conduct searches for existing files or key video statements, or to control the initiation of one or several simultaneous subscripts.

Remaps and Disables Keys in Applications

You can easily remap or disable individual keys in an application using APT Keyboard Express. For instance, you might choose to remap the Copy key to the Screen Print key to make the command more logical for inex-perienced users. Or you might choose to disable the Delete key in a payroll application to protect sensitive data from more sophisticated users.
